
Allied Telecoms was founded in 1986 and began by installing PDH transmission equipment and all associated infrastructure in sites throughout the London area. Since that time we have evolved into a specialist installations company able to take immense pride in the work we produce and our dedication to customer satisfaction. Over time, Allied Telecoms has grown to become a company that specialises in handling specific customer needs both in the UK and overseas.
During the last 20 years Allied Telecoms has provided a high quality installation service and our experience includes the installation of equipment from suppliers such as Alcatel, Lucent, Cisco, ECI, Siemens, Marconi and Nortel. We have long term experience of working on sites belonging to Orange PCS, Vodafone, O2, T Mobile, Cable and Wireless and Three, along with a multitude of smaller service providers.
Our primary area of expertise is the installation of Nokia switching platforms, both fixed and mobile and we continue to have a close working relationship with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). Throughout the last ten years we have completed installations of Nokia equipment throughout Europe, North America and Asia. We have also provided supervisory and training services to Nokia within in the USA, Italy, India and Australia.
With a wide geographical base of employees, many of whom have been with us for more than 10 years, we have the flexibility to meet customer needs at very short notice and maintain exceptionally high standards.
Our portfolio includes structured cabling and we are able to offer network cabling including office relocations and complete Server Room installations. Most of our employees have ADC/Krone approval and training for Data cabling and a number have achieved City & Guilds in Fibre Splicing and Testing.
All our engineers are trained to a high standard for all tasks and are regularly assessed to ensure a high level of competence and a broad knowledge base within our organisation. In addition to this, all projects are overseen by senior personnel to ensure that customer’s needs and our own high standards are met. Health and Safety is of the highest importance within the company and all personnel receive training in First Aid, Fibre Optic handling and testing, Rooftop Safety and D.C. cabling. All employees have IOSH certification and we have achieved full accreditation to OHSAS 18001:2007 for our management of Health & Safety.
Allied Telecoms operates a UKAS accredited fully integrated management system incorporating ISO9001:2000, OHSAS18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 which enables us to deliver a quality service whilst working within stringent Health & Safety, and Environmental guidelines and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
