Allied Telecoms are able to deliver a wide range of services
throughout the communications industry from the simple cabling of
a few E1 circuits to the provision of equipment and infrastructure of
complete switch rooms.
We offer a complete range of cabling including coax, twisted pair,
Cat5 & 6, fibre optic and D.C. Power.
As specialists in the installation of both Mobile and Fixed switching
platforms for the major equipment suppliers we are often called
upon to support the installation of new projects throughout a
customers network.
Our personnel are trained in wire-wrapping and soldering skills and have
extensive experience with the full range of connector types.
Our standards of cabling are second to none and the level of our repeat business bears out the importance
of always producing work to the highest standard. |

| Data & Voice |
|
In order for us to compete in the marketplace ,we have undertaken the training of all our personnel
in accordance with EIA/TIA standards and when combined with the high standard of cabling already
produced by our engineers it means we are able to offer structured cabling that is clearly head and
shoulders above our competitors.
We currently support the office relocations and server room
cabling of several major network providers and are able to both
maintain and expand existing networks.
All installations are tested in compliance with current EIA/TIA
standards and results supplied in a format of the customers
choice. Where patching schedules exist, these are updated and in
the absence of any records new schedules and even schematics
can be provided.

| Fibre Optics |
|
We have engineers trained to City & Guilds standards in the splicing of fibre
optic cables and all of our installers have undergone training in both fibre
cable handling and testing.
Allied Telecoms has extensive experience with all types of fibre containment
including ADC©, Gigaduct©, Optoduct© and Warren & Brown© trunking and
can both install and design systems to meet customer needs. |

| Cabinet Patching and Cable Audits |
|
One service we have found to be most popular with
customers is the total audit and re-cabling of LAN
enclosures. All work is undertaken outside of normal
working hours and includes either the re-dressing and retermination
of existing cables or the installation of all new
cabling, depending on the customers requirements.
Many companies find that budget restraints will not allow for the employment of a full
time Network engineer to control and maintain small Comms room environments and
over time LAN cabinets become both untidy and unmanageable making fault finding
difficult and very time consuming.
The production of clear and concise records and the introduction of logical labelling all
help to provide a system that can be easily maintained by the customer or managed by
ourselves. |

| Cabinets and Containment |
|
We can provide and install a complete range of
enclosures and racking for all types of equipment
including the assembly and wiring of pre-configured
units.
We can advise on logical rack layouts enabling
customers to make the best use of limited rack space
allowing for expansion of equipment and cabling.
In addition to the installation of telecoms equipment
we offer complete equipment room fit outs including
entire Unistrut superstructures, floor cutting and
equipment support.
As our primary role is cabling it is natural that one of our major concerns is that of cable
management and advice is readily given on a wide range of tray and mesh type
solutions including Datadeck©, OBO© and Cablofil©. All systems can be offered
as stand alone solutions for use by other equipment providers or as part of a complete
package.
